The image on the right shows a mould we recently completed, we were asked to design and construct a mould to manufacture the purple part, this has an internal diameter of just under 1.2 m. The image on the left shows our design capabilities using 3D CAD software, this mould was then produced in aluminium.
We have just produced the intricate moulding shown below, it is a life size mould of a cutting head for our Hurco machining centre. We chose this profile due to its incredibly complex geometry. The above mould shows a design for the moulding of a deformable fender to protect the hulls of boats when they are berthing. Our customer approached us and asked if a mould could be designed and fabricated to produce the item shown below. It is screwed to the jetty using the counterbored holes on the top and hangs over the edge of the dock. From initial enquiry to completing the mould for the design took only 3 days!
